Smart Storage

The central idea behind the Pantry Unit system was to create a smart, organised storage solution where every component serves a purpose. The design allows effortless visibility and reach for all items, and prioritizes efficient use of vertical and cabinet space. Available in Glass Pantry Unit 450mm & 600mm and Golden Pantry Unit 450mm & 600mm, each ensures practical, reliable storage.

— We started with

Smart Pantry

The Pantry Unit is designed as the centerpiece of an organised, efficient kitchen. We used precision-engineered shelves with minimalist lines, focusing on accessibility and style. Clear, structured compartments provide effortless visibility, complemented by adjustable sections that accommodate a variety of storage needs.

— The Fundamentals

Kitchen & Dining

In the kitchen, we focused on maximizing functionality with smart pantry units and hidden storage. The sleek shelves blend seamlessly with the cabinetry and open-plan design. Compartments feature adjustable sections, keeping items visible, accessible, and neatly organised for effortless daily use.

Shelves

The pantry unit was designed as a functional retreat for an organised kitchen. We used clear shelving, neutral finishes, and subtle textures to create a clean, accessible environment. The focus was on easy access, with adjustable compartments that promote efficiency and effortless daily use.

We're in a 15-year-old apartment and finally got around to renovating the kitchen and master bathroom. Our contractor suggested we 'save money' on hinges and handles since we were already over budget. My husband and I disagreed — if we're doing this once, do it right. Went with La Porta throughout. Fast forward six months: those are the only parts of the renovation we have zero regrets about. Everything else we debate if we should've done differently, but the hardware? Perfect. Wish we'd upgraded the guest bathroom too.

My clients don't know what a 'soft-close hinge' is and frankly they don't care. What they do notice is that their new kitchen feels more premium than their friend's kitchen even though they spent similar money. That's what good hardware does — it's invisible until you use it, then it makes everything feel more expensive. La Porta understands this. The aesthetic is clean and minimal, but the engineering is where they really shine. I don't do modular work without them anymore.

We operate three boutique properties and guest experience is everything. Door hardware sees brutal use — housekeeping staff opening and closing bathroom doors, wardrobes, balcony doors dozens of times daily. Cheap hardware fails fast in this environment. We switched to La Porta hydraulic systems across all rooms during our last renovation. Six months of peak season operation and we haven't replaced a single hinge. That's unheard of for us. The 10-year warranty gave us confidence, but the real-world performance sold us completely.

I'm not someone who usually writes reviews, but our wardrobe hardware deserves it. We have floor-to-ceiling wardrobes with those pull-down hanging rails and internal drawers — all La Porta mechanisms. Two years in, everything still works like day one. No sagging, no sticking, no weird noises at 6 AM when I'm trying not to wake up my wife. Small thing, but it genuinely makes mornings better.
